Stop the movie

Here are some great video clips that can be used as part of the Stop the movie/finish it Quick Write activity (page 128 of The Writing Book).

For example, stop the:

• 'For the birds' video clip before the end and get the students to write their ending. There are other lesson ideas for this video clip on The Literacy Shed website.
• 'An animated story of a boy who hates his disabled dog' video at midpoint and get the students to write what they think will happen next.
