In this 60-minute workshop, Sheena and Louise will focus on the researched benefits of the retelling strategy and present a range of practical ideas for teaching retelling in reading and writing at all levels.

 

This workshop will cover:

  • an introduction to ‘retelling’
  • exploring retelling in writing
  • reviewing a selection of generic ‘retelling’ activities for reading
  • sharing other free resources from The Literacy Place.
