Focus: providing opportunities for students to practise speaking and listening skills in the context of an everyday conversation
Have you thought of warming your students up for writing with a lipogram activity? A lipogram is a piece of writing that omits one letter - usually a common one like the letter 'e'. Refer to The Writing Book for more information about this Quick Write activity (page 115).
Click on the link to access a series of images from one of our Facebook posts which could be used to support students to write lipograms. The students could choose their favourite image from the 2018 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards - in pictures, or work on a different photo each day/week.
