Message a friend

This is a fun Quick Write activity where students share a holiday memory in a text format. It encourages students to write informally and to summarise their ideas.

 ‘Message a friend’ could also be used:

• as an independent reading activity – a character messaging another character
• to message a friend to recommend a great book they have read
• to share a weekend memory 
• to share a school event memory.
