Partner ping-pong

Use the Partner ping-pong activity from The Oral Language Book (page 41) to support students to generate ideas or vocabulary on a topic. 
 

Instructions: 
In pairs, students have turns at saying one thing each. They continue until one person cannot think of a new idea. 
Topics could include: 

• Share facts from the podcast, book or video clip
• Remember the instructions for how to … 
• Share words that start with …
• Share adjectives/adverbs/descriptive verbs, etc.
• Name things that are a specific colour, shape, big, small, etc.
