Focus: using drama to explore characters in more depth
We found this video of the moon rising in Wellington on 'The Kid Should See This' website in 2015. Students could watch the clip of the moon rising in real time, then complete a Quick Write activity to practise writing a metaphor or simile, followed up by a poetry writing session. Refer to Chapter 5 of The Writing Book for more information about Quick Write activities.
