Thought tunnel (page 95, The Oral Language Book) or 'Conscience alley' is a drama activity that can be used to support students to develop characters during narrative writing. The technique can also be used to support students to explore a book character in more depth.
For more information about this drama activity, click on the resource links. A teacher from Western Heights in Rotorua recommended this website to us during one of our workshops in 2013.
Check out Chapter 4 in The Oral Language Book for more great drama ideas.
