In this on-line workshop, Sheena will share a range of purposeful independent reading activities that support students to practise reading and develop comprehension. She will present practical ideas for organising and managing the activities, so teachers are able to teach reading groups while students work independently. The workshop will have a particular emphasis on how to introduce and teach the activities at the beginning of the year.
