In this practical workshop, Louise will guide teachers in using Te Mātaiaho to plan a writing unit focused on the purpose ‘to entertain’. She will demonstrate how to integrate the oral language and reading strands, and share strategies for differentiating the unit for different year levels.

Participants will receive a copy of the sample plan, planning and writing templates, as well as a poetry unit aligned with the teaching sequence outlined in Te Mātaiaho.

More information and a code to join this workshop will be emailed to attendees closer to the time.
