Word list – adjectives to describe feelings
These adjectives can be introduced using an activity such as ‘Adjective walk’. The students walk around and act in the manner of the adjective that is called out from the list (an adaptation of Adverb walk, page 80, The Oral Language Book). The word list can then be used during writing to support and extend students’ word choices.
