We shared this thought-provoking GoPro video in one of our Facebook posts. The video clip could be used to motivate students to write a:

• recount in the first or third person
• narrative - searching for a place to rest 
• description of the polar bear swimming or the setting 
• persuasive piece with an environmental focus.
