This paragraph writing template introduces the idea of a topic sentence to start a paragraph.
The boxes support students to break their ideas into sentences.
The students respond well to the concept of a ‘super sentence’. Teachers can add additional success criteria, such as add adjectives or use conjunctions to combine ideas.
